The story of a girl who, for love, left her home and country and set off for a long journey to happiness. Will she find it? Who haven't loved haven't lived. That's how the plot of the production may be read. The show combines drama, physical theatre, dance choreographies and contemporary circus language. Honey conducts a deep internal dialogue and strives for the love of a man whose instability gets both of them to (over) the edge of the abyss. But the sad story also leaves room for beauty, humor and reflection.
In Honey, many years of effort materialized to unite Cirk La Putyka and director Miroslav Krobot with drama actors from Dejvické divadlo. With their different artistic means and mutual permeation, the two ensembles were able to create one of the theatrical events of 2017 and to attack not only the senses of the spectators, but also to enrich themselves.
